Error code: "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (tmusa.sys)"

I just purchased a Toshiba Qosmio X75 64-bit windows 8.1, loaded Trend Micro 2014 on it. This error has come up 3 times now. Here is the link to download the WinRAR Zipped dump file.

Thank You in advance for all of the help.

Hi,

The attached DMP file is of the DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1) bug check.

This indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory at a process IRQL that was too high.

A driver tried to access an address that is pageable (or that is completely invalid) while the IRQL was too high. This bug check is usually caused by drivers that have used improper addresses.

^^ tmusa.sys is the Trend Micro Osprey Scanner driver, part of Trend Micro.

Remove and replace Trend Micro with Windows 8's built-in Windows Defender for temporary troubleshooting purposes as it appears to be causing conflicts/corruption:

"[Hot Fix] Getting BSOD on computers running Windows 8 with high RAM

You may experience Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) on computers running Windows 8 with Physical Memory (RAM) higher than 4GB. This issue happens because of the conflict between the Trend Micro Titanium module (tmusa.sys) and the Physical Memory amounting to higher than 4GB. Installing this hot fix will update the Osprey driver in Trend Micro Titanium 2014 so that it can run successfully on Windows 8 with high physical memory.
